The more desirable 10mm Auto chambered Star Megastar, they were also available in .45 ACP. With a solid steel frame and slide, the Megastar was the largest and heaviest of the Star pistols. They are one of the few handguns able to to shoot full powered 10mm ammo. This fact may be why their price has skyrocketed in the past few years as 10mm becomes more popular. You used to be able to find them on online auction sites going for $500 to $650, but now they almost always break into the $1,000+ range, depending on if they have the box and how many magazines are present.
