I prefer 9mm. It has stopping power along with an affordable price and good availability. Just recently acquired a Ruger Super Redhawk that is chambered for either 454 Casull or 45LC, which I plan to hunt with.
I agree with you. I prefer 9mm for its ease of use and price for practice. +P rounds for serious self defense magazines and carry when not at the range :) I still miss my .40 though!
